Inglis Todd Westbrook to investigate cinema exhibition in Scotland

Inglis Todd Consultancy, together with economist Steve Westbrook, have been appointed by Scottish Screen to conduct ‘A Study of Cinema Exhibition in Scotland’. The project will run from November 2004 until March 2005 and aims to provide an audit of current cinema availability along with an assessment of the effectiveness of Scottish Screen’s investment in cinema exhibition. The study will cover all forms of cinema exhibition including film festivals, film societies, and mobile cinemas.

Inglis Todd report launched in Cork

Inglis Todd Consultancy’s in-depth report ‘The Cultural and Economic Trends of Cinema in Ireland and Wales’ was launched at the 49th Cork Film Festival on 15 October.

The study was commissioned by both the Arts Council of Ireland and Sgrîn Cymru Wales. Funded by both organisations, the study also received match funding from the Republic of Ireland/Wales EU Interreg IIIA Community Initiative programme.

Copies of the report are available to download from the Arts Council of Ireland’s web site (www.artscouncil.ie) and the Sgrîn web site (www.sgrin.co.uk).

We are happy to discuss individual project requirements with clients.
