Our projects include:Cultural and Economic Trends in Cinema in Wales and Ireland A major research audit and review of the Irish and Welsh cinema sectors for the Arts Council of Ireland and Sgrîn Cymru Wales, the Welsh Media Development Agency. Funded through the European Union Interreg programme, the research involved site visits, interviews and photographing over 60 cinemas. The research and publication was launched at the Cork Film Festival in October 2004. A strategic review of British Film Institute Cinema Exhibition Funding Relationships A major audit and review of British Film Institute Cinemas (completed July 2000); commissioned by the British Film Institute to provide a review of its cinema exhibition funding relationships across the Scala Cinema & Arts Centre, Prestatyn Stage one and stage two capital redevelopment study for Denbighshire County Council – (with Burrell Foley Fischer LLP Architects) St Asaph Arts Centre, North Wales A stage one and stage two capital study for the Arts Centre in St Asaph – an arts education centre capital redevelopment project Borderlines Rural Film Festival A research and feasibility study for a Rural Film Festival in Herefordshire & Shropshire leading to the successful development of Borderlines Film Festival. We have worked independently on cinema and arts projects in Ipswich, Norwich, the East Midlands, Southampton, Portsmouth, Tyneside, the Scottish Borders, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Argyll, Stornoway and Shetland. Both consultants have worked closely with a wide range of cinema venues across the UK providing management and strategic development assistance. |
